A Night Out Shootingby Dead-Eye Dick - 12:01 on 24 July 2009Nine members and friends arrived at Seals Cove on a lovely summer evening to do battle with the clays. After some instruction on how to handle a firearm (wasted on the girls who didn't really know which end the thingies came out) we set of to the stands. The men got down to the job quietly and efficiently, despite the screams and giggles coming from the ladies stands, and made short work of the "birds" and "rabbits" coming from all directions. Of course, as was expected, the men took the honours for the evening with the star shooter for the night being Brian Duff. A lovely "cerry-oot" supper was provided by Lesley and Helen. A really great night of fun and good banter - just a pity that more didn't come along for the fun.
